Lovely to hear this topic getting the deep-dive treatment — the shadow period really does deserve more attention, since I often feel Venus Rx themes surfacing weeks before the station even arrives. I’ll be listening to the episode this weekend while taking stock of my own relationships and spending habits. Do you find the shadow phase hits Venus-dominant people harder, or does it mostly just make the retrograde itself feel longer?
Yes, I find that the entire Venus Rx period – including the shadow – usually impact Venus-dominant people more. It depends on the houses and your placements in the Rx signs as to whether it will feel longer or not, but it’s certainly common to feel like Rx’s drag on and on!
