Telling ghost stories with Dead Centre of Town

Telling ghost stories with Dead Centre of Town

October is here and we have some ghost stories to share! In this extended episode you’ll get to hear from the folks behind Dead Centre of Town (DCoT), Edmonton’s travelling, immersive theatre show that takes place in literal haunted houses. I spoke with Megan Dart, one half of Catch the Keys, the production company behind DCoT. Megan talks about this year’s show – which is at the Mellon Farmhouse in Fort Edmonton Park – as well as Dead Centres past, including some actual ghost stories from previous years.

I also chatted with John and Kat Evans, who are part of DCoT’s creative team. They do all the SFX, props and costumes for DCoT, so they have lots of fascinating things to share about how they make the magic happen every year. Oh, and they’ve also got some spooky ghost stories, too!

Just in time for the start of Halloween season, this episode is not to be missed.
