What was going on astrologically when a massive F4 tornado ripped through Edmonton? How about when the Oilers first won the Stanley Cup?
As a born and raised Edmontonian, Mel has long been fascinated with the astrology chart of her hometown and what was going on in the sky during Edmonton’s key historical moments. In this presentation, Mel reviews the basics of mundane astrology and then applies these techniques to Edmonton’s natal chart. We look at what the natal chart says about Edmonton and its citizens. Then we look at the astrology of a few key events in Edmonton’s history, including the Black Friday tornado in 1987, the Leduc No. 1 oil discovery in 1946, and the Edmonton Oilers’ first Stanley Cup win in 1984. Mel also looks at the 2023 Aries ingress chart to see what might be coming up for Edmonton and Alberta in the coming year.
